Supporting the Marion Cultural and Civic Center

The Marion Cultural and Civic Center is a service to the community provided by the City of Marion. In turn, all of the new equipment and additions or updates to existing equipment are provided by donations to MCCC or through the MCCC Foundation which is also sustained by donations. To help with your decision of how you would like to support the center there are descriptions and links to a variety of choices below.

-
Patron Series Sponsorship
You or your corporation can directly help support one of the programs in The Marion Cultural and Civic Center Patron series through one of our five sponsorship levels. Each one of the levels listed below has its own set of benefits based on which level you choose. For more information about one the sponsorship levels contact Josh Benson at (618) 997-4030 or by email at josh@marionccc.org.

Contribute to the MCCC Building Fund
-The MCCC Building fund was initially founded to raise money for construction of the facility. Now that this great facility is in place, funds raised through the building fund now go to the further development of the resources the building can offer to whoever is using it. The next project that will be executed once the funds have been gathered is the installation of a hydraulic orchestra lift. This Lift would make the orchestra pit at the center a multi-functional part of the performance space.  With the addition of an orchestra lift the pit area can also be used for additional seating on the floor level or it could be used at stage level as an extension of the stage. To help MCCC realize its goal of becoming a further developed performance space you can donate in 1 of 3 ways. Record of any donation over $125 will be engraved and placed on a plaque in the lobby of the Cultural and Civic Center.

In honor of your "purchase" your name or text of your choosing will be placed on the right arm of the seat engraved on a brass plate. To become a seat sponsor you can either pay by cash or check in the office at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center, or you can choose to do so online with a credit card by following the directions below.

Support through the MCCC Foundation

The Marion Cultural and Civic Center Foundation was founded in 1982 for the purpose of raising funds for the improvement of the building and its resources. Now after 25 years of service to the center it is still continuing to do the same.  There are various options of how to help support through the MCCC Foundation.

Starwalk Bricks
You can show your support by purchasing a personalized brick on the Starwalk entrance to the Marion Cultural and Civic Center. By purchasing a brick you can immortalize yourelf, a loved one, an organization, or an event. Your second option is a white marble brick engraved to your specification for $500. You can purchase these bricks in two ways. Either place your order in the office at MCCC or you can purchase them online with a credit card by following these directions. To select your brick click on the "Donate Now"  button underneath the image of the brick of your choice. After you have gone through and paid for your brick, send an email to rebecca@marionccc.org with the listing of what you like engraved on the brick.
